Telkom Knockout Final 2017 - Gavin Hunt

The Wits coach Gavin Hunt feels it’s too close to a call a favourite between themselves and Bloemfontein Celtic ahead of Saturday’s Telkom Knockout Cup final in KwaMashu, KwaZulu-Natal.

The Clever Boys have experienced a torrid season in the Premier Soccer League, and occupy the last place in the standings, despite being the defending champions.

Bloemfontein Celtic in their turn are lying in 8th, however, are one win away from jumping back up to second.

Hunt conceded that judging by the league standings, Phunya Sele Sele, can perhaps be considered as the favourites to repeat their 2012 heroics.
