Kestell - The police in the Free State have launched a manhunt after the body of a well-known bookstore owner was found in his home in Kestell, yesterday. Police spokesperson, Lorraine Earle, says Johann Ramage suffered multiple stab wounds and a wound to the head. Earle says it is reported that when the Ramage was not found at his post as usual, neighbours went to investigate why it was so quite at his book shop, and upon arrival found that one of the windows was forced open.
Earle adds the 77-year-old was living alone with his dog, and a case of murder is being investigated. No suspects have yet been arrested. Katleho Morapela/OFM News
