Why are premiers only vacating in March?

This is according to a political analyst from the Free State University, Sethulego Matebesi. He says Magashule and Mashatile should have long vacated their provincial positions as both the secretary general and treasurer general positions are full-time in the ANC. Matebesi says it seems like some ANC leaders are left to exploit the party’s constitution to their own advantage and predictions are that they might be stalling on their resignations to ensure that their provincial positions are occupied by preferred candidates.
