The quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia got underway this afternoon, but all eyes turn to Kazan this evening for the showdown between Brazil and Belgium.
The two pre-tournament favourites would have made for the prefect final but unfortunately after tonight only one team will remain in contention.
Seleção of Brazil will be looking to add a record sixth star to their logo, and Les Diables Rouge are looking for their first ever title at the global showpiece.
While Brazil are always contenders to win the World Cup, one feels that if Belgium don’t use their opportunity now, it may be another very long wait before their will be in contention again.
The golden generation of Belgian football has been together as a unit for quite some time, however, a few of these stars will more than likely not be around when it comes to Qatar in 2022.
