Maokeng residents reeling after devastating winds

Residents of Maokeng in Kroonstad are still reeling after devastatingly strong winds damaged at least 200 houses and left two people including a child injured on Saturday night. Power lines, fences and vehicles were also wrecked. MEC for Human Settlements, Oupa Khoabane, tells OFM news that several of government departments in the Free State are on scene in a bid to help residents deal with the ordeal faced by the affected residents of Moqhaka Local Municipality.
