Harmony FS mineworker missing

A 55-year old mineworker at Harmony Gold’s Phakisa operation outside Odendaalsrus has been reported missing. Free State police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng says the Mozambican national who is a mineworker and shift boss, was last seen on Monday, October 29, by his girlfriend. Fernando Paulino Mungoi is said to have reported for duty on the day and then gone to visit his girlfriend after knocking off from work. Thakeng says he left his girlfriend’s house in his silver grey, Toyota Hi-Lux bakkie with Free State registration plates, at around 17:30 in the afternoon. He says she reported him missing to Odendaalsrus police on Friday, November 2.
