Prisoner who killed warder to appear in FS court

The 37 year old man said to have murdered a 35 year old female warder and raping her 33 year old female colleague at the Goedemoed Correctional Facility between the Free State and Eastern Cape after is expected to appear in court today. This is according to police spokesperson in the Free State, Sam Mokhele, who said that the inmate, who was already serving two life sentences for murder, rape and assault, would make his first appearance for the alleged crimes today at the Smithfield Magistrate’s Court. OFM News earlier reported that the sentenced prisoner held the two female officials hostage on Friday afternoon by locking himself with in a cell with them. OFM News’ Pulane Choane reports that it remains unknown how exactly he managed to carry out the crime.
