The alleged Cash-In-Transit (CIT) wounded robber is on the loose as the North West police launch a manhunt following a gun battle with security guards in Boshoek near Rustenburg on Monday. The police spokesperson, Vish Naidoo, tells OFM News that they suspect that wounded robber might have probably sought medical attention at the local health facilities following the incident.He says last night at about 18:00, two cash-in-transit (CIT) vehicles were attacked by a group of armed robbers on road R565 Boshoek within the Phokeng policing area.
He adds that the guards during the attack bravely fought back and they suspect that the robber was critically wounded while bleeding profusely before he was removed from the scene by his accomplices. Naidoo says during attempted robbery no money was taken.
