Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on this week’s edition of People of Note is the well-known and much respected wine maker BRUCE JACK who shot to fame with his urban brewery called Flagstone but who is now the owner and winemaker of a more boutique enterprise called The Drift Estate in the Overberg. But it is not only wine on which Bruce concentrates. He spearheads an organisation called the Headstart Trust, established in memory of his mother, Elspeth Jack, and which seeks to provide and promote education and outreach programmes for educational enrichment, especially music education.
