Wendy Alberts, Restaurant Association Of South Africa talks The sit-down restaurant industry is pleading with government to allow it to serve tables again.
The latest easing of lockdown restrictions allows only for collection and delivery at take-ways and restaurants.

The livelihoods of thousands of waiters are now hanging by a thread.
Industry body the Restaurant Collective says there are about 13,000 sit-down establishments nationally employing 500,000 people. Restaurants can only break even with delivery and collection if they make one-third of the sales turnover that they would normally achieve with full sit-down.
The Restaurant Association of South Africa warned of possible job losses if the lockdown regulations continue.
