Central Drug Authority (CDA), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and Non-Governmental Organisations, are observing annual Drug Awareness Week from 22nd to 26th June 2020. The objective of Drug Awareness Week is to educate the public, and young people, about the dangers and consequences of substance abuse for a drug-free South Africa. The week will culminate on the 26th of June, which is International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit.
