The Sheik family were awoken to fire fumes in their Musgrave flat last week, the fire devastatingly wrecked their apartment to pieces. Many had placed hopes that the new year would bring in a turn of energy and fortune. Yes, we are still very much in a pandemic with South Africa in its second wave. However, with talks of South Africa receiving its first drop of vaccinations in the not so distant future, there has been some hope restored for some. The Sheik family were no different, hoping that 2021 would be much kinder to them. Friend of the show, Mishkah who has become known to Stacey and J Sbu as someone who engages with the show frequently reached out with some tragic news.
