Is reciting cellphone numbers in a 3-3-4 formation even a thing?

Well Stacey and J Sbu most definitely think it's a think so much so they decided to drag a member of our team about how they call out a cell phone number.

The formula apparently which is also the universal way in which everyone recites someone’s cell phone number should be: 3, 3, 4. Surely it is not higher-grade maths, right?
