Derick Mathews is the chairman of Grain SA. At their annual congress which ended yesterday, Mathews told congress that there are so many positives in the agricultural business, especially in the farming sector, that farmers must not lose faith in their future, but live in hope. He emphasized the importance of food security and also encouraged farmers to build and develop the country.
