Ontbloot Satan se planne (3)

Jy kan 20/20 visie in die natuurlike wêreld hê en steeds blind in die geestelike wêreld wees en vir Satan se planne val. As jy egter na God in gebed draai, sal Hy jou oë oopmaak en jou ‘n strategie vir oorwinning gee. Let op wat gebeur het toe Elisa en sy dienaar in die stad Dotan wakker geword en deur vyandige leërs omsingel was: ‘Toe die dienaar van die man van God die volgende môre vroeg opstaan en buitetoe gaan, sien hy oral net troepe, perde en strydwaens. Benoud roep hy vir Elisa: ‘Ag Meneer, wat moet ons nou maak?’ ‘Moenie bang wees nie!’ sê Elisa vir hom. ‘Daar is meer aan ons kant as aan hulle kant!’ Toe bid Elisa: ‘Here, maak tog sy oë oop sodat hy kan sien!’ Die Here het sy dienaar se oë oopgemaak. Toe hy opkyk, sien hy dat daar baie perde en strydwaens van vuur op die heuwels rondom Elisa was. Toe die Aramese leër nader kom, bid Elisa: ‘Here, slaan hulle tog met blindheid!’ Die Here het gedoen soos Elisa gevra het’ (2 Konings 6:15-18 NLV). Vrees jy nederlaag? Is jy verward en weet nie wat om te doen nie? Voel jy dat die skanse teen jou opgestapel is en jy nie sal slaag nie? Die Bybel sê: ‘…die Gees wat in julle woon, [is] magtiger as die gees wat in die wêreld woon’ (1 Johannes 4:4 NLV). Raak alleen stil voor God en bid: ‘Here, maak my oë oop.’ Bly daar totdat Hy dit doen. Wanneer dit gebeur, sal jy ontdek dat die magte van die hemel aan jou kant is en dat jy die hemelse hulpbronne tot jou beskikking het. Hoe sal jy toegang daartoe verkry? Deur geloof!
