KOLLECTIVA and BLVCK BLOCK are proud to announce their collaborative exhibition, Names Like Rivers, Faces Like Fire, opening at Constitution Hill’s Women’s Prison in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 9th of August 2025. This exhibition brings together two dynamic collectives whose work interrogates identity, memory, and experience within the South African context. Kollectiva is based in the Free State and exhibition intern, Meghan Fabre joins Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to share her excitement about this exhibition. ‘Names Like Rivers, Faces Like Fire’ promises to offer a vital and necessary dialogue on South African issues, resilience, and the shaping of new cultural narratives.
