Dr Joseph Kunnuji is the Resident Ethnomusicologist lecturer at the Odeion School of Music at the University of the Free State and his zest for life is clear in his music and his energy towards teaching others about music from around the world. In his collaborative album with Mlungisi Gegana they bring music from West Africa and South Africa together. Marabi meets highlife is available on all streaming platforms. Joseph joins Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to talk about this album and to share a bit of music live on his trumpet!
