Informing citizens and farmers of Rift Valley Fever (RVF) and its impact on livestock have been at the top of the priority list of the Northern Cape Agriculture Department. This disease can result in large costs being incurred if animals aren’t treated and vaccinated timely. OFM News’ Lee Simmons spoke to Dr Mpho Maja from the department about the impact it can have on the sector.
