Junie elke jaar word wêreldwyd aandag gevestig op die impak van kanker op persone gediagnoseer met kanker, hul versorgers, geliefdes, familie en ander mense binne die oorlewende se kring. Dikwels het hierdie mense net iemand nodig om mee te praat oor hul kankerervaring.
