Philippa Dods; Marketing at Meltwater, Director at Future Females, WEF Global Shaper speaks to Carmen Murray, CEO of Boo Yah, and host of The Carmen Murray Show about her journey to prepare for the Ironman Race and how she managed to raise R50 000 for the Rape Fund Crisis.

Preparing for the Ironman is definitely not an easy task and it truly takes resilience and grit to make it happen. A young woman inspiring change and in South Africa to stand up for what they believe in and to make a difference no matter their age. She is a force of nature. She is in the front lines fighting for women, their careers and one of the wonders that will bring a tsunami of change in the future of South Africa. Go, Girl!

She shares with us some of her lessons and what it takes to prepare for a race like this and unpacks crowdfunding and how she managed to raise these funds in a short amount of time.

Philippa Dods is a true example of what it takes to have a purpose and go against all odds to make it happen. Cause brings effect when you put your mind to it.
