The successful 24 hour dredging operation completed at the Port of Mossel Bay on Tuesday, 05 October 2021 by Transnet National Port Authority’s ISANDLWANA hopper dredger resulted in a new daily volume record of 30 381m3 surpassing the previous record of 26 220 m3 set in December 2018.
